i just installed jmootips on a joomla 2.5.11 website.
Im actually working on a local test machine.

I have created a Tooltips category then an article in this category.

I have inserted with the tooltip button in the backend the tooltip link.

In front end the word linked to the tooltip appears and cursor is modified accordingly, but no tooltip.

in backend the plugin parameters are

CSS Class jmootips
Use jmootips CSS-File yes
Close tooltip yes
Position of Tooltips above
Use AJAX for Articles yes
Use Bootstrap no
Add Mootools Libraries mootools-more
Allow use of "url" no
Allow Remote Host no


tested and not working with last version of following browsers
IE
firefox
opera
chrome
safari

any idea what's going wrong?

hi,

if tooltips do not popup, there is a probably a problem with the used javascipt frameworks (mootools, jquery, ...). Try to set parameter "Add Mootools Libraries" to "both Libs".
You may debug problem using firefox's addon "Firebug".
