In version 2.1.3 I notice that country info still scores 68% for the USA and only 28% for the Netherlands, which is remarkable for a modest local dutch historical society.
Could it be that the bots are still counted for analyzing country information?
hi,
check is based on checking client with content of variable "HTTP_USER_AGENT" for bots. Unfortunately (bad) clients (bots) could fake this content and tell that they are humans (e.g. set content to a valid browser like Firefox. Therefore correct checks for bots can only be done by checking behavioir of client (e.g. as done with captchas). For a visitor counter this would be much too complicated and an excessive effort.

Hi,
I'm still struggling with the visiting bots. They have a strong influence on my daily count results. It would be useful for further investigations when the country information is on on a daily basis, including a daily reset. The current total result is rather useless. Is there such possiblity?
